In this book of poetry I've discovered humor in a subtle way. The poem that stands out is "I Ate Him". Michael discusses the pleasure of eating "cheese cake". Once you read this piece, you'll be craving cheese cake, trust me.
I recommend Michael Granger's Wave Of Words, to anyone who enjoys poetry. Poetry lovers of the world your sure to find just about every topic of interest in this book.
In conclusion, I give this book six stars out of a possible ten. I personally congratulate Michael and his work, In time he will become an outstanding poet.

I Ate Him
Cheese cake shall never be in a lake
It's great and tasty far from fake
Perhaps a great relative of Mr. Cake
Please eat some for goodness sake
It is a taste you cannot compare
Very unlikely to find it at a fair
Not something to be used in a game of truth or dare
Shall be eaten with respect and care
Made in many shapes and sizes
More to the eye, in many disguises
A great treat, if anyone realizes
If you have not sampled it, you have to try this
Many ingredients in this food
To call it a terrible idea is to be rude
A fantastic dessert for a gal or a dude
You cross the wrong cook and you will be sued
This a very nice topic many can relate
Please do comment on this great debate
Who cares what time it is, so what if it is late
Cheese cake is great, no need to be irate
From California to Japan
Who ever invented this creation, I am their number one fan
This could be a great way for a treaty between the world and the Taliban
A wonderful piece of heaven cooked in a pan
